Welcome to the Edmonton New Technology Society (ENTS)



What is ENTS?
The Edmonton New Technology Society (ENTS) is a non-profit, member-driven organization of technology and hobby enthusiasts. ENTS offers members a place to create, build, repair and otherwise work on projects.
Our first meeting was in August of 2009 and we have been improving and building on our space ever since. In the years since forming, ENTS has grown to be a self-sustaining organization of like minded individuals who come together through projects and community.

What does ENTS do?
Per the above, ENTS provides members with 24/7 access to a lab, workshop, meeting and tinkering facilities, stocked with a variety of tools and supplies.

How does ENTS work?
ENTS is a co-op; members' monthly dues are put towards our operating costs. With the dues collected ENTS is able to provide the workspace and the supplies for our members to work. As a registered non-profit society in the province of Alberta, ENTS is organized under and governed by a set of bylaws and policies, ratified by the membership. How can I join?
The easiest thing to do is check out our joining page and look around, ENTS offers tiered pricing to accommodate our member's financial needs.
If you'd like to visit ENTS a few time before joining you're more than welcome to. You can e-mail directors to book a time or jump in to our IRC channel and chat with the whole group.

How can I stay on top of the wiki's changes?
There's not a lot of flags to inform members that there have been updates to the wiki. If you're interested in watching the changes as they happen, you can check the Recent Changes Special Page, this will show you the recent edits so you can check them out.
