 Equipment Settings
Make sure to set the spindle speed to something appropriate for the size of drill bit and material you are drilling. For example, if you're using a 4" hole saw, don't use 3000 RPM. (Don't use a 4" hole saw on this drill press. It is not powerful enough. Use the Craftex in the garage.) Ensure the belt is tensioned properly to prevent slippage.
 Known Issues
The drive belt is severely frayed and needs immediate replacement before heavy use. If you -really- need to use this drill press, make sure the belt cover is closed. Please consider using a different drill press. We have four.
